Hi, I’m Sophia Michelle. founder, creative director, and curator of everything iconic. I live for vintage treasures, especially pieces from the 2000s and before, when clothes were made with care, thought, and a little bit of magic.

I feel most me in a pink velour Juicy Couture tracksuit or carrying a statement bag that turns heads. Here, it’s all about self-expression, quality, and standing out—because fashion should never be boring.

My Vision and Mission

I love traveling the world, digging through basement thrift shops in Rio de Janeiro, supporting local vendors in the streets of Harlem, and exploring every secondhand store Montreal has to offer. Wherever I go, I source the pieces that make your wardrobe unforgettable.

Everything here is handpicked by me, a fellow diva, for you, my special customer. My goal is simple: so you can spend more time strutting and less time wondering, “Where are all these fabulous people finding their clothes?!” I curate for a variety of styles and include inclusive sizing because everyone deserves to feel and look fabulous.

Sustainability is just as important to me as style. Each piece I sell is made with quality and care—designed to last, long before fast fashion took over. I inspect, wash, and sometimes repair each item to give it a second life, so it can be loved for years to come.

fun facts and behind the scenes

once i saw a girl selling vintage clothes on a rack in washington square park, that's when i decided i wanted to do the same. that's how my walking closet was born. named that because it's a moving diva closet i want to bring everywhere in the world! also because i've always dreamt of having a walk-in closet like carrie. and one day i will. sometimes i think about changing the name because i kinda hate it sometimes, but i am too attached to it now.

my biggest inspirations are juicy couture, britney (specially in 2007), the color fuchsia, john galliano, madonna, ARCA, new york city, david lynch, my french best friend, kate moss, my cat churro, david bowie, my therapist, my mother, my aunts and my cousin who nicknames herself Mad Dog. without any of these things, my walking closet wouldn't exist.

i dream of one day having a physical store. would you visit?

i took courses in FIT for fashion styling, personal shopping and image consulting. it highkey changed my life. even though sometimes i don't know which shoes i should wear.
